Before hashtags, likes, and followers, there was the loom — the original social network. A place where threads, hands, and stories intertwined to create something lasting. In 2025, QUOD is bringing the spirit back with Social, a collection that reclaims the word from the digital world and restores it to its roots: people, community, craft.

With Social, QUOD turns its attention to heritage. The collection is crafted in collaboration with WomenWeave, a Maheshwar-based organisation empowering women handloom weavers since 2003. The collaboration honours centuries of craft legacy — tracing back to the visionary Maratha Queen Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, who made Maheshwar a hub for weaving in the 18th century.

The idea took shape during a boat ride along the Narmada river in 2024. The vision? To make heritage not a footnote, but the starting point of contemporary fashion. Each piece in Social is handwoven in khadi linen, reimagined into QUOD’s signature silhouettes. It’s an open invitation to interact, collaborate, and move beyond comfort zones — everything that “social” once meant, and can mean again.
