QUOD ERAT DEMONSTRANDUM: MEET THE NEW KID ON THE FASHION BLOCK

Label Quod Erat Demonstrandum launched in January 2019 and has grown faster than you can pronounce its name. Designed for women, the first collection by Quod fuses femininity with modern streetwear and formal menswear. With sharp yet unconfined silhouettes, the collection incorporates soft, flowy materials along with a combination of high contrast monochromatic colours and minimal yet striking details.

Having worked in brand management and strategy for eight years before emerging as a design graduate from Parsons School of Design, New York in December 2018, founder and designer Ikshit Pande, knew he wanted to carve his own niche.

Soon after his graduation, Pande gained first-hand experience working in the luxury fashion industry, as a design intern at Vera Wang. And before long, he showcased his first collection at New York Fashion Week on 06th September 2019. We caught up with the designer about how the brand came into being and what lies ahead.
